The Eastern Secret Passage is 67 meters long with 84 steps, deliberately designed to be winding to avoid pursuers and stray bullets; additionally, aside from reinforced concrete, the uneven wall surfaces enhance sound absorption, making it difficult to pinpoint locations even if pursued. The passage is equipped with 43 explosion-proof lights to prevent secondary injuries from flying debris in case of an explosion.
Tour Itinerary: Gathering at Fugui Hall → Time Corridor → Eastern Secret Passage → Secret Garden → Miss Kong Er’s Former Residence → (Take shuttle bus) Introduction of Taiwan Shrine’s stone walls and Kasuga-style lanterns along the way → Get off at Grand Hotel Main Gate Driveway and walk to Garden Plaza with an introduction (Japanese Dragon Fountain) → Exchange souvenirs at Fugui Hall (Approx. 1 hour including registration)

- Local Ticket NTD 1,500: This ticket includes one full-price ticket for locals at Taipei 101 Secret Garden Observation Deck 89F and one full-price ticket for locals for the Eastern Secret Passage tour at Taipei Grand Hotel.
- Local Child Ticket NTD 750: This ticket includes one child ticket for locals at Taipei 101 Secret Garden Observation Deck 89F and one child ticket for locals for the Eastern Secret Passage tour at Taipei Grand Hotel. Child tickets are applicable for ages 6-12 years old, accompanied by an adult ticket holder.
- Foreigner Ticket NTD 1,500: This ticket includes one full-price ticket for foreigners at Taipei 101 Secret Garden Observation Deck 89F and one full-price ticket for the Eastern Secret Passage tour at Taipei Grand Hotel.
- Foreign Child Ticket NTD 990: This ticket includes one child ticket for foreigners at Taipei 101 Secret Garden Observation Deck 89F and one child ticket for the Eastern Secret Passage tour at Taipei Grand Hotel. Child tickets are applicable for ages 6-12 years old, accompanied by an adult ticket holder.
- Children aged 5 or under and below 115 cm in height can enter free of charge (ID required upon entry), accompanied by an adult ticket holder.
- The Eastern Secret Passage tour is available on the last Saturday of every month from 14:00 to 14:50, approximately 50 minutes in duration. For inquiries, contact the Grand Hotel Eastern Secret Passage hotline at 02-2886-1818 ext. 1818.
Important Information for Ticket Use:
- This ticketing system does not provide a modification feature. If you need to change/cancel the booking date or quantity, please cancel the entire order and rebook (partial refunds are not accepted). Once a ticket is used or the designated time has passed, refunds are not available. Please refer to the shopping information for order modification details.
- Booking for the Grand Hotel Eastern Secret Passage package must be confirmed 5 business days in advance on a specific day each month. Once booked, no refunds or changes are accepted within 5 days.
- Upon completion of your purchase, a “Booking Success Notification” will be sent to your provided email address, containing a redemption QR code for visits (Taipei 101 Observation Deck and Grand Hotel Eastern Secret Passage). Please present your ID along with the redemption code and order number at the Taipei 101 5F Observation Deck entrance/Taipei Grand Hotel first floor lobby at the Eastern Secret Passage counter at the scheduled time for verification by our staff.
- As the Eastern Secret Passage tour is a group activity, it is capped at 40 participants per session. Please arrive 15 minutes early at the Taipei Grand Hotel first floor lobby’s Eastern Secret Passage counter for check-in, and present your order number and ID for verification by our staff.
- Guests with heart conditions, pregnant women, the elderly, those with claustrophobia, mobility impairments, or other health concerns should not participate in the Eastern Secret Passage tour. Guests are asked not to run, push, or damage any facilities to preserve the historic essence of the Eastern Secret Passage. For safety reasons, each child aged 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent. Please follow all safety instructions provided by the hotel staff to ensure your own safety and that of other guests.
