Light and Shadow Painting: A Journey into the Palace Museum – An Immersive Feast Across Time and Space
For the first time, an all-immersive exhibition uses light and shadow to awaken cultural relics, traversing historical scenes and taking you into the exquisite paintings of Lang Shining and the Four Seasons landscapes.
The Palace Museum, in collaboration with Ke-Wen Cultural Integration and Ambi Space, presents the first all-immersive Palace Museum exhibition, unveiling the charm of classic paintings fused with light and shadow art. "Wandering Through Paintings" showcases the theme of Lang Shining's East-meets-West integrated paintings, revealing how the Jesuit missionary integrated Western painting techniques into the Eastern court to create stunning artistic masterpieces. "Journey Through the Four Seasons" brings to life the poetic beauty of spring, summer, autumn, and winter through the flowing brushwork of Song and Yuan dynasty landscape masterpieces by artists such as Guo Xi and Wen Zhengming.
The exhibition combines AI technology and generative art to create large-scale light and shadow scroll paintings with five high-resolution projections, allowing the paintings to come alive in an all-immersive space. You will experience the awe of history and technology merging, engaging in a dialogue across time and space with the classic cultural relics of the Palace Museum, and sharing an immersive feast of art and culture.
Special Feature!
The classic animated film "National Treasure Dolls Enter the Treasured Mountain" from the Palace Museum vividly explores the charm of classic national treasures such as "One Hundred Horses" and "Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains." It is an educational and entertaining experience suitable for the whole family to enjoy.
