Founded in 1735, Blancpain is the world's oldest watchmaking brand. In 1930, Blancpain created the first self-winding women's wristwatch, and three years later, Betty Fiechter became the company's new leader, making her the world's first female head of a watchmaking company. In 1956, Blancpain introduced the groundbreaking "Ladybird" wristwatch, equipped with the world's smallest round mechanical movement at the time, and the name for Blancpain's "Ladybird" series designed specifically for women originated from this achievement.
In the spring/summer of 2023, Blancpain is relaunching the Ladybird Colors, a custom-designed jewelry watch series for women, with bold and vibrant colors and Blancpain's exquisite watchmaking craftsmanship. The series offers two versions: small seconds and moon phase display, each available in up to 5 color options, injecting a lively and colorful energy into the Ladybird Colors series. The entire series features 18k white gold or 18k red gold cases with a diameter of 34.9mm, allowing the elegant proportions to fully display over 2 carats of beautiful diamonds. The graceful and vibrant dial colors complement the strap colors, and the hour markers and double-circle diamond settings converge towards 6 o'clock, showcasing a dynamic asymmetrical beauty. The small seconds version is powered by the 1163 self-winding movement, while the moon phase display version is equipped with the 1163L self-winding movement. Both versions have a four-day power reserve and silicon hairsprings, allowing women to seamlessly integrate practical technical functions and stylish appearance into their daily use and matching needs with precision, comfort, and elegance!
