The flying minute tourbillon at 6 o'clock is one of the most complicated functions in watchmaking. This precision mechanism is assembled and adjusted by the most experienced watchmakers at Shaffhausen IWC Schaffhausen. The tourbillon places the escapement and balance wheel within a small rotating frame that makes one full rotation per minute. This continuous rotation of the balance wheel reduces the effects of gravity on the frequency of the system, thereby enhancing the watch's accuracy.

Another special highlight is the 18K gold oscillating weight on the back of the movement, which can be admired through the transparent sapphire glass case back, depicting the Little Prince standing on a planet.
