The never-ending cycle of day and night became the inspiration for four new iconic dial colors: Horizon Blue, Dune Gold, Meteorite Black, and Silver Moon. Horizon Blue draws inspiration from the bright afternoon sun and the light blue sky.

The new IWC Portuguese Automatic Watch 42 (Model IW501708) features a new case structure, a slimmer bezel, and a double-sided convex sapphire glass, leaving a deep impression. Inside the case operates the IWC-manufactured 520111 caliber with Pellaton winding system, ceramic components, and a seven-day power reserve. It has an 18K white gold case, Horizon Blue dial, rhodium-plated hands and hour markers, a Santoni gradient blue alligator leather strap, and an 18K white gold folding clasp.
