One day, a time-transcending detective team that travels freely through different eras and enjoys solving various mysteries received a mysterious commission. It turns out the client's mother lived by the Liugong Canal in her childhood. Now as she ages and her clarity wanes, occasionally, in her half-sleep, she calls out the name of the canal. To allow her mother to see her childhood scenery one last time before she passes, the client has asked the detective team to bring back the Liugong Canal, allowing it to flow once again through the land of Taipei.
