Rado, the world-renowned "Master of Materials," has launched the new Captain Cook High-Tech Ceramic Taipei 101 Limited Edition watch, available exclusively at the Taipei 101 flagship store. As the only authorized watch brand at Taipei 101, this watch features a matte black high-tech ceramic monobloc case, a captivating gold-colored PVD-coated stainless steel turning bezel, and a screw-down crown. The bezel is enhanced with black high-tech ceramic inserts, and the numerals, indexes, and the triangle are embossed in a striking gold color, creating a vivid contrast against the bezel. The captivating openworked dial clearly displays the structure and operation of the R808 automatic movement, equipped with Nivachron™ anti-magnetic hairspring and adjusted in five positions for precision.
The dial also features a brushed gold-colored PVD moving anchor symbol, synthetic ruby backplate, and the Rado and Captain Cook logos in gold. The yellow brushed hands are coated with black Super-LumiNova® for luminescence in low light conditions. The watch back, made of black PVD-coated titanium, is engraved with a special marking: LIMITED EDITION, ONE OUT OF 101. It also includes a smoked sapphire crystal with a special metalized decoration of Taipei 101.
The entire watch is complemented by a matte black high-tech ceramic bracelet with polished black ceramic middle links and a titanium three-fold clasp. With a water resistance of 30 bar (300m), the watch is presented in a limited edition special box symbolic of a treasure chest.
