"Synthetic Nature: Symbiosis Beyond Organic" - Future Ecological Art Light Show

"Synthetic Nature—Symbiosis Beyond Organic" brings a multidimensional dialogue across art and science, nature and technology, observation and perception at AMBI SPACE ONE on the fifth floor of Taipei 101. This exhibition is not just about viewing, but a sensory experience that involves both body and mind. By combining ecological concepts with AI computation, biomorphic forms, and human cultural memory, the exhibition space transforms into a symbiotic network of perception, inviting every viewer to reconsider "what is nature" and become a creator in the interaction.

This exhibition, curated by artist Chen Pu, extends the core ideas from his long-term project "Black and Blue Cosmos": everyone is an ecosystem, every object is a living entity. Within the exhibition, visitors will navigate through installations blending hand-drawn and digital elements, moving through dynamic visual and AI-generated spaces, sharing breaths with bioluminescent plants, and experiencing the diverse forms of life between stillness and flow.

Exhibition Highlights:

AI Interactive Creation Zone

Participants can engage in the creation of AI-generated images, using taxonomic and morphological algorithms to trigger the generation of incredible virtual life forms. This represents a brainstorming collaboration between humans and AI, and a live lab for imagining the evolution of future species.

Immersive Video Zone

Featuring multi-channel synchronized surround videos with soundscapes that resonate from the veins of leaves, through neural networks, to outer space. Visitors will find themselves in a constantly evolving visual and temporal realm, entering a different respiratory rhythm, synchronizing with the space and exploring life's evolution, environmental imaginations, and empathetic realms from the perspective of the "Time Traveler UJU."

1:1 Scale Real Footage of a Blue Whale, Descending upon Taipei 101

By presenting real footage of blue whales and humpback whales at a 1:1 scale within AMBI SPACE ONE, Taiwan's most iconic immersive space, visitors will experience the awe of being on-site and the symphony of technology and natural elements.

World-Class Plant Collection

The exhibition gathers rare plant species in collaboration with well-known Taiwanese horticultural and ecological brands, integrating world-class exotic plants into the exhibition space, creating a unique knowledge and ecological experience.

Large-Scale Plesiosaur Lighting Installation

Combining hand-drawn, biomodel, and 3D designs, the visual installations blend nature with the future, micro and macro perspectives. One of the representative installations, the "Plesiosaur Lighting Installation," stretches across the exhibition space with a grand pose, its form inspired by ancient and organic beings as well as futuristic mechanics, symbolizing an ecological system of past, present, and future imaginations.

Floral Plant Lighting Installation Art

Constructed with transparent balloons forming floral structures, lights flow gently from the roots to the top, resembling the rhythm of breathing life. The installation, combined with dynamic multimedia art, creates an immersive space where technology meets nature, offering visitors a healing experience akin to a wonderland.

MR Mixed Reality Interaction

The exhibition sets up a small mixed reality (MR) experience zone where visitors can interact with virtual beings in real space through wearable devices. This area merges augmented reality and spatial positioning technology, offering a dual immersive experience of visual and physical engagement.

Limited-Time Exhibition Events

Expertly planned music, design, and mind-body-spirit cross-disciplinary events include an acoustic performance by Golden Melody Award-winning singer Shu Mei-en, a discussion on nature and symbiosis by fern expert Kuo Cheng-meng and landscape designer Hung Jui, a compassionate floral art workshop led by plant stylist Yuty, and a yoga meditation experience by Lululemon × The Median in the immersive space.

For viewing platform tickets, please go to the Taipei 101 Observatory on the 5th floor to redeem your entry at the ticket counter, and for the Future Eco-Art Light Exhibition, please go to the entrance of AMBI SPACE ONE on the 5th floor of Taipei 101 for entry redemption (last entry time is 17:15 daily), and present your ID along with the redemption code, which will be verified by the staff.
